AUTOMATIC LOADING SYSTEM
The Sphera3 chain loader allows the edger to work continuously without interruption. The operator loads small stacks of 7-70 pieces. The chain loader has a loading area outside of the machine, so keeping the machine loaded without stopping production is possible.
The chain loader can be adjusted with a positive or negative pin, or masks with different curvatures and sizes. For rectangular blanks, two self-centering rails ensure accurate blank positioning. Sphera3 also has a device on the loading arm that adjusts the lens blank loading position to ensure the correct optical center location and lens polarization axis.
AUTOMATIC UNLOADING SYSTEM
The Sphera3 pneumatically controlled unloading system places the finished lenses vertically in stackable trays that are well suited for the assembling department.
